Ways to Get Involved on Campus

Looking for ways to get involved in campus events and activities?  You have come to the right place!  Below are programs and events that routinely look for help from staff members like yourself.

Mean Green Move-In

Mean Green Move-In volunteers are what make this event the successful campus event it has become.  You can truly make our newest class of students feel like this is home by volunteering your time on the very virst day of their on-campus experience.

Move in days will be Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th.  Both days will include all halls across campus and will run the length of the day.  Volunteers will recieve a Mean Green Move-In T-shirt.  Wear it throughout the year to show your Mean Green Pride!

If you are intersted in helping out with this year's event, please use the link below to submit your informaiton.  Please pass this message on to any colleagues or friends that might be interested.

Supervisory Building Blocks

The Supervisory Building Blocks certificate program is designed to strengthen and develop the skills of new and existing supervisors. Sessions address multiple aspects of supervision and provide attendees with an opportunity to learn collaboratively with supervisors from across the campus.

Supervisory Building Blocks sessions are currently in rotation at UNT, UNT Dallas, and UNT Health Science Center. System supervisors may sign-up and attend sessions at a location most convenient for them.

Team members who complete a total of 30 hours of training, including all foundation sessions and six (6) hours of elective sessions, will earn a certificate of achievement.
