Join the Staff Senate At Home Academy (AHA) for Belly Dancing on June 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
In this class you will learn some fun, basic belly dance moves to improve balance, coordination and flexibility! Led by instructor Laurel Crawford, Head of Collection Development for UNT Libraries, we'll cover proper dance posture, practice classic moves like shoulder shimmies and hip circles, and learn a short combo. This is a low-impact exercise suitable for everyone, regardless of previous dance experience. Plan to dance barefoot or in socks and wear comfortable clothing. For extra fun, tie a scarf around your hips!
