Benefits of the EAP: What Can the Employee Assistance Program Do For You?
Registration is now open for the upcoming Lunch & Learn held on February 4th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in Union 332.
Learn about the benefits associated with your EAP plan! The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is offered to all employees, their household members and dependents. The program offers free, confidential problem assessments, counseling (up to six sessions per personal situation, per year) and referrals.
In addition, the EAP website offers a wide array of web-based training, assessments, articles, tips, and resources including access to a law library and financial calculators in order to assist employees with creating a work/personal life balance.

Presidential Town Hall: Equity, Diversity and Civility
Join President Neal Smatresk, in collaboration with university and Student Government Association leadership, to continue the conversation that began last semester regarding cultural competence and creating an equitable and diverse campus climate.
Event will be held Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 3:30 p.m. in the University Union Lyceum.
#DENTONING
The Denton Black Film Festival has grown into a five-day event that allows you to immerse yourself in some of the best artistic showcases of Black cinema, music, spoken word, art, technology and more.
The festival will take place Jan. 22-26, 2020. Visit their website to learn more.

Staff Senate meets once a month. The next meeting is Feb. 11, 2020 at 3 p.m. in the University Union, Room 332.
