Skype for Business is Transitioning to Microsoft Teams

In preparation for UNT World's transition to Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business is scheduled for migration Nov. 12-15. If you have sent out Skype for Business appointments, they will be converted to Microsoft Teams appointments. Weekly Teams 101 virtual workshops are offered at 9:30 a.m. Thursdays and recorded for later viewing. If you have questions, contact your local service desk, call the UNT System Service Desk at 940-565-HELP or email ithelp@untsystem.edu.

If possible, Larry Mendez, chief technology officer, UNT System, recommends using the Microsoft Team application on your computer for the best experience. Download Teams for a personal device. 

Please also note that you need to recreate your voicemail and any forwarding or delegation settings you may have had in Skype for Business.

Diversity & Inclusion Open Enrollment Training

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion added more open enrollment training for all UNT Denton employees for November and December. The available sessions are for Bias Awareness and Perceptions and Microaggressions and Inclusive Language. Learn more about these offerings and register now on UNT Bridge through the website.

Strategies for Coping with Holiday Stress

Holidays during the best of times can be challenging and stressful. For many of us, 2020 has been a turbulent year where we have faced extensive additional challenges and shifts in how we respond and relate personally and professionally. Thoughts of the upcoming holidays may trigger even more stress or even grief as we acknowledge this holiday season may be nothing like what we have experienced in the past.  This session on Nov. 19 from 11 a.m. – noon will acknowledge these challenges as well as provide practical strategies and resources for coping with the upcoming holidays.
