Every day you make valuable contributions to the university through your interactions with students and their families, campus visitors, university partners, and your colleagues. You give back to UNT in many meaningful ways. The UNT Staff Senate would like for you to consider sharing your time and talents through service in our organization.

The UNT Staff Senate serves as a formal way for university staff to communicate with constituents

regarding issues relevant to staff members. The Staff Senate seeks to advance the university’s mission and strategic plans, paying particular attention to issues and interests that impact UNT’s more than 2,300 staff members.

Mission of the Staff Senate:

The mission of the Staff Senate is to:
  • continue to foster communication within the campus community;
  • refer issues and inform the University administration on items that are of interest to the staff;
  • advance the University's mission;
  • improve the delivery of services to the University's constituencies
