Upon Nomination

  • Accept Your Nomination: you will receive a q request to confirm your acceptance of your nomination. Self-nominations will be considered accepted by default.
  • HR Verification and Supervisor Approval: Once you have accepted your nomination, your supervisor will be sent a Supervisor Approval Request and HR will verify your eligibility.
  • Ballot Profile Information: Once HR Verification and Supervisor Approval have been completed you will receive a request to complete the Ballot Profile Information form. See below for the information that will be requested. 
  • Election Time: You can view the election timeline on the Elections Webpage

 

Ballot Profile Information

These questions will be emailed to you once your HR Verification and Supervisor Approval have been completed. However, in order to be best prepared, you can review the requested information below.

  • Name
  • Title
  • Department
  • Division
  • Quick blurb about yourself
  • Why are you nominating yourself/did you accept you nomination to serve on staff senate?
  • How will your work experience benefit the Senate and your constituents?
  • What aspects of the UNT staff community do you want to contribute to?
  • How do you plan to connect with your constituents?

There is no minimum length and a maximum of 500 words. Average responses are generally about 100-250 words.
