Connect with Procurement to place vendor bids

If your department needs bids for items or services, UNT System HUB wants to help! Their team will participate in the annual Senator Royce West Spot Bid Fair, which allows them to get bids on the spot from Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs). UNT System has been recognized by the state for their use of HUBs, businesses primarily owned by a woman, minority or disabled veteran and operating in Texas. Please help us maintain this record of using vendors from our state! Learn more about how to request a bid for this event through HUB here. The deadline to send in your request is April 25.

Employee Leave

Staff Senate is proud to announce that we have partnered with UNT HR to create a more comprehensive employee leave website. The website includes more information about the newly created Family Leave Pool than was previously available. Staff members are encouraged to review the website and provide any feedback to staffsenate@unt.edu or by attending the April 12 Staff Senate meeting.

Talent on Display

Thanks to Chris Peavy, Director of College of Business Programs, who shares her beautiful floral painting on canvas. "Thank you Staff Senate for the Staff Appreciation event ‘Drop in for a Smorgasbord’ on March 31. I really enjoyed the snacks and the activity supplies I picked up allowed me to create a nice painting for my office. It’s great to be a part of UNT. Go Mean Green!"
