Prep The Pantry Drive
The UNT Food Pantry Presented by Kroger is preparing for Fall 2022 semester and they need your help to stock the pantry! Starting now, the UNT Food Pantry Presented by Kroger is partnering with departments all over campus to host a “Prep The Pantry Drive” to stock the pantry shelves before Fall session starts August 29th. Expanding Community Leadership
UNT Police Capt. Jeremy Polk spent the last nine months expanding his knowledge beyond UNT’s borders as part of Leadership Denton. The Denton Chamber of Commerce program brings together members of private industry, education, and government to learn more about businesses and activities in the city. "It opens your eyes to all that it takes to make a city this size work," Polk said.
A large part of the group’s work also centered on giving back to the community. The 2021-22 group project focused on putting together a diversity, inclusion, and equity program that the Chamber could use with local businesses. The 38th Leadership Denton Class was just formed but for those interested, anyone can apply for the 39th Class next year. Visit the Leadership Denton website to learn more.

In this session, we will focus on developing confidence through assertive communication. Assertiveness skills not only help improve teamwork, focus discussions, and build relationships, but they also help individuals become confident, constructive, and perform at their best.
