Spanish for Staff
The President's EDGE would like to announce Spanish for Staff - La Familia. Over six classes, you will learn how to introduce your family members and pets. You will also learn useful vocabulary to describe all your favorite family members and their characteristics. We are looking forward to meeting you and introducing you to your new Familia at The President’s EDGE. Instruction will be virtual via MS Teams and a link will be sent on enrollment. PCard Holder & Approver Training
New PCard Holder & Approver Training is for new and current PCard Holders and Approvers and will cover the most important guidelines (state and university statutes) related to the purchasing card, card usage, allocating and reconciling in Concur, and additional best practices. Travel Training
This training will cover the most important policies, guidelines, and best practices to plan and conduct travel as well as explain Concur for travel authorizations and expense reports, as well as non-overnight travel, such as mileage reimbursements, and non-travel related reimbursements. Staff, faculty, and supervisors who travel frequently, deal with travel related matters, or seek non-overnight stay expense reimbursements (business meals, local mileage, etc.) should attend this training. d/Deaf Connect Faculty/Staff Training
ODA has partnered with the Multicultural Center to host trainings focused specifically on working with our Blind and Visually impaired students and our d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, including accessibility tips and tips for inclusion in the classroom. Faculty/Staff Training: Creating Inclusive and Accessible Environments for Students with Visual
The Office of Disability Access will host a training on June 1 from 11am to 12pm, focused on creating inclusive, welcoming, and accessible educational and campus environments for students who are blind or visually impaired. This training will include specific strategies for working with students with visual impairments, disability awareness information, and resources to assist you moving forward.
