How long have you worked at UNT?

Since June 2015.

What is your department and what does your position entail?

I work in the Facilities Deparmtnet managing the Personnel Office for the 300 employees in the department. I am also responsible for leasing and managing UNT’s off-campus properties including Woodhill Square in Denton and Inspire Park in Frisco.

What do you like about your position?

The people in my office and throughout the entire department. Very capable, committed team members always willing to take on more responsibilities. I am particularly proud of the way they rose to help lead the University’s response to the COVID pandemic.

What is your favorite place to eat on or around campus?

Mean Greens and Starbucks.

Tell us something about yourself!

Came to Denton with my wife, Kim, to be close to our son and his family. She wound up getting her Master’s in Counseling at UNT, thanks to the employee scholarship. Will eventually move back to South Carolina after the grandkids grow up some more.
