How long have you worked at UNT?

I have worked at UNT for just short of 13 years, all with the UNT Libraries.

What is your department and what does your position entail?

I work in the Libraries’ External Relations Office and have served as the Director of Marketing for roughly five years. I work with an amazing team of creatives to produce videos, advertisements and stories that embody the libraries’ mission and extend their influence around the world.

What do you like about your position?

I appreciate that my job requires me to be on the cutting edge of both technology and communications in order to be successful. I am blessed to have the tools and the team that I have. Developing quality products and meaningful connections is the most rewarding aspect of my position.

What is your favorite place to eat on or around campus?

Café Loco.

Tell us something about yourself!

During the pandemic, to pass the time, I took up raising poison dart frogs and building custom vivariums. And no, they are not poisonous, lol.
