Play4Kay
Thursday, February 6, at 7 PM the UNT Women's Basketball team will be hosting their Play4Kay game.
Play4Kay is an initiative of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, a fund set up in honor of longtime NC State women's basketball coach Kay Yow. Yow, who over 700 games as a collegiate head coach, was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987. She passed away in 2009.
Play4Kay helps raise awareness and money for breast cancer research.
If you have survived or are currently battling breast cancer we would like to honor you at halftime. If you would like to take part please email Emily Baker at emily.baker@unt.edu by February 5.

Module 6: ¡Qué rico!
In this module, we cover vocabulary and phrases about food and dining! Learners will be able to discuss their favorite foods and not so favorites. We will cover reading and writing recipes, table settings and restaurant equipment. Learners will also be challenged to talk about things that happened yesterday and last year when we cover forming the past tenses in Spanish. See Module 6 flyer here.
