2020 UNT Parent Association Holiday Sweatshirts
With the holiday season right around the corner, it is time for the annual UNT Parent Association Holiday Sweatshirt sale!
This year, they will only be taking pre-orders to ensure that your items are delivered prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. Send the completed order form via email to james.burks@unt.edu, or bring it by in person to the Orientation and Transition Programs office in Union 377 by 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 6.
Please note that your completed form must be submitted, and payment completed, by the deadline if you would like your order placed.
Homecoming Cookbook
UNT has created its first ever Homecoming Cookbook - a space where UNT students, staff, faculty, and alumni can share their favorite quick dishes with the UNT community. Homecoming Crew is looking for quick and easy dishes that students can make, whether they're cooking in a residence hall kitchen or apartment. Submissions will be taken throughout Homecoming Week. A Homecoming Cookbook PDF will be shared with the UNT community after Homecoming is over.
Detailed recipes can be submitted on OrgSync. The deadline to submit your recipe(s) is Nov. 8 at 11 p.m.
Homecoming Game vs. Louisiana Tech
The Mean Green Football Team plays Louisiana Tech on Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. Catch the game on the CBS Sports Network or in-person.
Kuehne Speaker Series
The fall UNT Kuehne Speaker Series is being presented virtually this year and is free and open to all. Scheduled for Nov. 10 at 11 a.m., it will feature a Q&A with legendary College Football Hall of Fame coach Lou Holtz.Follow the "Access Virtual Event" link to register.
Fem Flicks Film Series - Amá
Amá tells an important and untold story: the abuses committed against Native American women by the US Government during the 1960s and 70s. Please view the screening of Amá prior to the discussion at 7 pm.
Join the UNT Library at 7 p.m. on Nov. 11 for a discussion hosted through Zoom.
Neurodiversity Professional Network Meeting
The next meeting for NPN will be on Nov. 12 from 12 - 1:30 p.m. Contact Linda.Holloway@unt.edu if you're interested in attending. You can learn more about NPN and what neurodivergent means on their website.

Utilizing the New Gallup Portal
This 1-hour informational sessionwill cover tips on how to access and analyze your results from the Q12 Gallup survey inside the new Gallup Access Portal. You will learn how to navigate the Gallup Access Portal Menu, identify where to find resources, learn to find and analyze your department’s results, and explore ways to start an Action Plan based on your team’s report. The informational sessions are open to all employees.
