Parking and Basketball

The Mean Green Men’s and Women’s basketball teams each begin their seasons next week. The women tip-off their 2021-22 campaign Tuesday, November 9, with a 5:30 p.m. matchup against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma at the Super Pit. The Mean Green men take to the floor immediately after as they host Oklahoma Christian at 7:30.

Please note the following regarding campus parking on home game days:

  • Four hours before each home game, parking spaces next to the UNT Coliseum on the south side of Highland Street will be blocked off. This affects primarily Faculty/Staff (FS) and ParkMobile users. Individuals who park in this area should be sure to move from the south side of Highland Street to the north side or other lots on campus that match their permit type.
  • Traffic may be heavier as game time approaches.
  • While UNT bus routes will not be altered, riders may experience delays if using bus service around game times.
