West Nile Prevention

In August, the City of Denton mosquito risk level rose to level 5, a public health alert brought on by confirmation of human cases of West Nile Virus. UNT partners with the city and takes measures of its own to limit mosquito growth. Eliminate standing water whenever possible. If you find a place on campus that has standing water and needs to be addressed by Facilities, fill out a work order request or call 940-565-2700. Mosquito Protection Tip Chart

University Mark

UNT Logo with Diving EagleUSBC is leading an effort to replace outdated university marks. The UNT Lettermark is now locked up with the Diving Eagle as our official university mark to be used in all materials. If you are using only "UNT" without the Diving Eagle - in print or online - please replace it. You can also download academic and administrative lockups with this combination in multiple formats.

COVID Update

UNT community members are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines for the care and use of cloth face coverings. They should only be worn for one day at a time before being properly laundered prior to next use. When taking off your mask, handle it only by the loops or ties and fold the outside corners together. Be careful not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth when removing the mask, and be sure to wash your hands immediately afterward.
