Diversity & Inclusion’s Inclusion, Equity, and Community Building 

The sixth cohort of Diversity & Inclusion’s Inclusion, Equity, and Community Building series starts next month. UNT employees may sign-up by end of Friday, September 3rd to explore topics like anti-racism, privilege, and inclusive language with an opportunity for action planning at the end of the series. Once you’ve completed the five modules, you will earn a certificate like the one graduate Vishal Malhotra (pictured) earned. Learn more and sign-up at idea.unt.edu/IECB-series

SNAP Benefits Workshop

The Dean of Students and North Texas Food Bank are partnering to address food insecurity by offering workshops to help UNT community members learn about the application process and benefits for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Two virtual workshops will be held next week with additional times to be announced for 9/23.

There is no registration and these workshops are open to staff, students, and faculty.

UNT Staff Jubilee

Come join us for giveaways, speed networking, games, snacks and more! Save the date for UNT Staff Jubilee on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 10am-2pm at the UNT Union, Room 394.

UNT Safety Fair

The annual UNT Safety Fair will be 10 am to 2 pm on Sept. 22 on the Union South Lawn. There will be a dozen campus and community participants, including Staff Senate and a blood drive by Carter BloodCare. Fair participants will have games and giveaways, while also discussing important safety tips for work and personal life.
