DCTA Feedback

Those who use UNT buses, including student workers, are encouraged to give feedback from now through May 17 to the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA), which runs UNT’s bus routes. DCTA planners are evaluating the following areas: Connect and GoZone ridership demands, historical trends, and access; and fares. Please encourage all staff and student workers in your area who use UNT buses, Denton Connect buses or GoZone for transit to provide feedback at dctafeedback.net. Providing this feedback will help DCTA better understand how to serve our community. Also, survey participants will be entered into a drawing to win one of three $100 Amazon gift cards.

Reminder: Volunteers Needed

During UNT’s commencement ceremonies May 13-15 there will be some construction along North Texas Boulevard so volunteers are needed to help graduates and their guests navigate their way around campus.
There are several dates and shifts available to support all of the commencement ceremonies.

Please sign up at this page by April 28. A volunteer orientation will be held at 10 am on May 3 via Teams. For those who cannot make the orientation, follow-up information will be given.

Parking Permits 2022-23

Parking permits for UNT faculty and staff go on sale April 27. If you use payroll deduction, you will receive your permit during the summer but the first deduction will not take effect until Oct. 1, 2022. Transportation Services encourages faculty and staff to get their permits early as some of the more popular locations – including the Highland Street Garage – sell out by fall.

For faculty and staff working remotely in 2022-23 may opt not to buy a parking permit. If you plan to come to campus, however, you will need to either purchase a $5 day permit or use visitor parking options.
More information on parking permits and daily/visitor parking permit options can be found here
