If you are between the ages of 18 to 44, please come to the Be The Match® marrow donor registry event Dec. 6, 2017, noon-4 p.m., outside of the University Union Ballroom. A simple cheek swab is used to add your tissue type to the registry.
The UNT Staff Senate meeting Oct. 10 at 3 p.m. will adjourn early so members may attend the reception to welcome the new chancellor.
The President’s EDGE – a program originally created to help UNT employees earn their GED – is adding a five-week course for English speakers to learn basic conversational Spanish.

The University Union and the Center for Leadership and Service have partnered to create a drop-off point for donations for Hurricane Harvey evacuees that are currently in shelters in Dallas.
They are collecting
new underwear and socks,
diapers, baby wipes, baby food,
toiletries,
feminine hygiene products, and
non-perishable food (especially canned pasta, peanut butter, snack foods) for Trusted World, the organization running the Dallas shelters.
