We Mean Green Fund Committee Staff Applications are Open!

Are you looking for a professional development opportunity that will allow you to make an environmental impact on campus? UNT’s student-led We Mean Green Fund Committee (WMGFC) is looking to add a sustainability-driven member to its ranks! The WMGFC is a collective of thirteen UNT community members, which includes students, faculty, and staff. The WMGFC is responsible for allocating funding collected from the Environmental Service Fee to sustainability-based project ideas on campus that have been submitted by UNT member affiliates.

In addition to helping make our campus greener, committee members are also benefitted by the experiences they have which include, but are not limited to, developing leadership abilities, strengthening budgeting skills, and networking with institutional partners both on- and off- campus! Membership on the We Mean Green Fund Committee is expected to last for two academic years, but interested committee members are encouraged to re-apply and continue their environmental stewardship with our office! Committee members are also expected to attend each of our monthly meetings and represent our office at least two We Mean Green Fund sponsored events each semester of their installment.

If you are interested in joining the We Mean Green Fund Committee and helping to make our campus a more sustainable place to study, work, and live at, please fill out our Committee Application Mailing List or email WeMeanGreenFund@unt.edu for more information.
