Staff Appreciation Month is here! Our staff have had another incredible year, and we're so excited to celebrate you! In addition to the Staff Appreciation Luncheon and dozens of learning sessions provided by UNT HR, Staff Senate will be providing several fun workshops of our own and giveaways throughout the month! As a small token of our appreciation, we've loaded up on snacks, sweets, swag, and activities so you can choose a way to brighten your day! If you or a colleague can't make it, offices are welcome to send representatives to pick-up for a group! More specific offerings will be posted at the beginning of each week.

Safety Coordinator Training

The Safety Coordinator Program exists to help ensure that there are people in every campus building who know what actions to take during an emergency and who can assist those around them. Safety Coordinators are full-time faculty or staff who have received training to assist their fellow building occupants during an emergency.  Ready to be a Safety Coordinator? Space survey training starts soon

Space Planning & Management needs each department’s help to make sure UNT has an accurate record of how it uses its rooms and buildings. Training sessions to help you prepare for the annual Space Survey start Feb. 28. Training and information can be found at this link. The annual space survey will be open from March 14 to April 15. Each department needs to ensure the space in their areas are accurately identified to help the university ensure it is using space wisely. Space survey designees for each area will receive emails directly from the Space Planning & Management email, SMP@unt.edu.
