Staff Performance Evaluations
The 2020 staff performance evaluation period will be September 15 through November 15, 2020. Evaluations will be completed utilizing the new electronic Performance Management module, which replaces the UPO paper evaluation form. Training will be offered in advance for both supervisors and employees, and supervisors may begin preparing goals and objectives using the new system on August 15.
User guides, training and additional information is available on the HR Performance Management website.
Annual Spot Bid Fair
The UNT Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) program is participating in State Senator Royce West's annual "Spot Bid Fair" Aug. 3-5, 2020, to be held virtually. The fair allows HUB vendors statewide to bid on goods and services from state organizations, such as UNT — and may help save money on purchases your area already intends to make. Please review your upcoming expenditures from now through the end of the calendar year and email Greg Obar, UNT System HUB coordinator, for assistance.
Staff Senate AHA Workshops
The At Home Academy (AHA) workshop scheduled for July 29, An Introduction to Writing for and about Film and Television, has been cancelled. We hope you have enjoyed the AHAs as much as we have enjoyed bringing them to you. While there are no more sessions this summer, we will start back up again in the fall. If you have any suggestions for future trainings and workshops, please email staffsenate@unt.edu.
Visit the Staff Senate Staff Development Committee web page to access some recordings and documents from past presentations.
