Mental Health First Aid class available for UNT staff
Due to popular demand, two additional classes of Mental Health First Aid have been opened for spring 2020. The all-day class teaches participants how to identify someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. It builds an understanding of the importance of early intervention. Participants will learn how to offer initial help to a person experiencing a mental health challenge. Lunch is provided.
If interested, please sign up for one of the two upcoming classes from 9 am to 3:30 pm on Feb. 13 (Thursday) or March 31 (Tuesday) at the Support & Services Building Room 102.
Registration is through unt.bridgeapp.com. Select My Learning, then the Training Calendar and search for “Mental Health” to register for the class you want. You can also find a direct link to the training under “Mental Health First Aid” on the UNT Training site.
