Employees Requesting Modifications for Returning to Campus

As departments begin to resume on-campus operations and prepare for the return of employees to the workplace, we expect that some individuals will have requests for leave or other needs related to COVID-19 and particularly those who are considered high risk as defined by the CDC. All requests for modification of an employee's job related to a medical condition must be facilitated through Human Resources, as well as leave requested by an employee.

Human Resources is finalizing the request process and required documentation which will be communicated soon. In the meantime, if an employee requests any type of work modification as a result of COVID-19, any medical condition, or other circumstance, supervisors should immediately contact their Human Resources representative to ensure that appropriate processes are followed. Human Resources may also be reached at 940-565-2281.

Are you #MeanGreenReady for Severe Weather?

Picture of night sky with lightning strikingSevere weather can occur at ANY time of the year, but we certainly see a more significant threat during the spring. Here are some things you should do to make sure you’re #MeanGreenReady for severe weather, no matter where you are!

Know where to go – Working from home? Where would you shelter if there were a tornado? The best sheltering areas are windowless rooms without exterior walls. If you're on campus, find the designated shelter space for your building here.

Follow UNT Emergency Management (@MeanGreenReady) on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for the most up-to-date preparedness information for UNT.
